Beyond Space is still in active development, with a planned beta release in late 2025. The current focus is on refining the core gameplay systems and ensuring that the game offers a balanced and engaging experience right from launch. The Beta release will include:

-3 distinct factions: each with their own rich stories, unique identities, and thematic playstyles.
-4 fully developed armies: each offering diverse tactical options and strategic playstyles.
-2 hex tile battlefield sets: designed to enhance strategic depth and replayability.

Our primary goal at this stage is to build a solid foundation that delivers both strategic depth and accessibility. From refining unit balance and game mechanics to finalizing the 3D-printed model range, every element is being carefully crafted to provide a high-quality tabletop experience.

Upcoming Milestones:

As development progresses, several key milestones will shape the journey of Beyond Space:

  • Late 2025 – Beta Launch
    The beta phase will serve as a critical period for balancing the game, refining mechanics, and gathering player feedback. Expected to last approximately six months (hopefully!), the focus will be on fine-tuning unit interactions, army compositions, and game mechanics to ensure a polished and enjoyable experience. This phase is dedicated to making Beyond Space fun, strategic, and rewarding, with adjustments made based on community insights.
  • Beyond Space Edition 1 – Official Launch
    Following a successful beta, Beyond Space will officially launch as Edition 1, establishing the foundation for the game's future. At this stage, the primary focus will shift to continued balance improvements, promotional efforts, and expanding the player community.
  • Future Expansion – Solo PvE Game Mode
    Once the competitive core of Beyond Space is solidified, development will expand into new frontiers with the introduction of Solo PvE game modes. This expansion will bring new characters, units, and story-driven lore, diving deeper into the universe of The Realms and offering players a fresh way to experience the game. The PvE mode will mark the beginning of Beyond Space's evolving narrative, setting the stage for future expansions.

While our focus remains on the present goals, these milestones represent the broader vision for Beyond Space delivering a game that is fun, engaging, and continuously evolving with the community.
